About Us
The Seboni Foundation is a registered Non-Profit Company and Public Benefit Organisation focused on helping underprivileged communities through Education and SMME development programs.
Our vision is to facilitate change in the socio-economic fabric of our country from the ground up. We partner with schools and existing community partners to create development programs that can foster healthy learning environments and successful businesses in our communities.
Our initiatives have a goal of contributing to change the reality of an overwhelming number of South Africans living without access to quality education, in poverty and facing unemployment. We foster for projects that are:

Quality Learning Environments
We believe that change starts from the ground up, which is why our education programs are targeted at Early learning, basic and high school learners and institutions. We work with learners, teachers and headmasters to implement tailored programs aimed at creating quality learning environments and educational programs.
School infrastructure and learning tools programs.
We are passionate about creating and improving both the infrastructure and teaching environments in schools located in underprivileged communities. We work contractors and experienced educators to identify areas in need of infrastructure upgrades and updates of learning tools.
Computer Literacy
In an ever-advancing technological world, we understand the importance of computer literacy as a means for success. Our technology initiatives are designed to instill confidence in young learners from the inception of their schooling journey. Through teaching technology skills, we hope these programs will give children in poor communities the exposure and skills they require to succeed in a broader context. We’ve partnered with donors to facilitate and monitor computer training programs for learners.
Care and Upskilling of Educators
We understand that motivated, encouraged, and informed teachers are an integral part of a successful learning environment. That is why we’ve created mentorship programs that work collaboratively with schools in developed communities to expose our teachers to the necessary tools to create harmonious learning environments, encouraging to both teachers and learners.
Our projects aim to help schools motivate their teachers and we work with donors to:
- Upgrade the teachers staff rooms to give teachers a sense of pride;
- Organise activities for teachers outside the classroom; and
- Empower teachers by providing training in identified areas.
